What a Year and a Half It's Been

I never thought I'd still be doing this.

This was meant to be a distraction from my troubles in life — a side project, nothing more. Somewhere along the way it grew into something bigger and more personal than just a simple shop.

We started as Moto Deviant. Then just Deviant. Then abbreviated to DVNT. And now, finally, we've settled on LMXLY.

If you're curious — it's an amalgamation of my wife's name and mine. Same creative minds behind the designs, just a new name.

I'm not one for many words, but I think it's important I reach out to you — our subscribers and customers — so we can get to know each other on a deeper, more personal level. My hope is that these blogs give you more insight into how our designs actually come to life. We don't just want you to look good in our apparel. We want you to understand where it comes from.

Some of it comes from a dark place. Some of it comes from joy. Either way, we want you to know — because you might relate. And sometimes that connection is the thing that helps you through your own dark place too.
